It all started in 2011 with a laptop, a bedroom, and a deeply embarrassing love of Glee.
Hey y’all- I’m John Osborn & fourteen years and two cities later, I am the owner and operator and my own mastering business in New York City- currently based in Astoria, I work with a variety of genres ranging from acoustic pop acts to alt-rock bands, to lofi hiphop artists, and rappers.
Starting my career after graduating from Elon University's Music Production program, I started assisting at Slack Key Recording Studio in Nashville, TN for Grammy-winning engineer Randy Kohrs.
Not long after that, I took what I’d learned and moved to New York where I developed a sincere appreciation for mastering.
Now I’ve got an LLC and everything.
Today I put every dollar I make back into the studio because this is what I love to do. All I want is to make good records with people I like. Really.
